Outside of the 9-5 (see Professional section below), you can find me… well, I’m not always exactly sure where you can find me. It depends on the day! I’m a true multipotentialite and have too many interests to count.
I enjoy fly fishing, biking, reading, hiking, camping, playing foodie, traveling, working out, writing, and oh, so much more!
If you’re into personalities and want to psychoanalyze, I’m a cusp millennial, textbook Cancer, Obliger of the Four Tendancies, ENFJ (sometimes the N is a S, and sometimes the J is a P)… I’ll work on my enneagram next!

Professional
Most people would agree that I am a well versed and widely respected marketing, operations, and logistics professional with 15+ years experience both afloat and ashore in the commercial maritime industry. I am proud to hold a Merchant Mariner’s 1600 Ton Mate Near Coastal, 200 Ton Master Near Coast, and AB Unlimited licenses. I also have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from The University of Akron. I’ve worked aboard boats sailing the entire east coast of the United States, the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, and the Great Lakes and also shore side in corporate offices throughout the Midwest.
There are many areas that peak my career interest: maritime, education, communication, leadership, DEI, and the like.
Similar to my personal life, I have ever changing “avid” and “aspiring” lists for my professional endeavors as well. I’m currently working on expanding my maritime network and applying to graduate schools to pursue a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
