Rising Tide – 2019 Week 34

Welcome back to Rising Tide, the weekly digest of things I’ve discovered or been into this past week and consider worth sharing. Enjoy!


1. Autonomous and shape-shifting boats? What!? Technology is so amazing, especially when it involves one’s own industry. For me, it’s maritime.

2. This is the story of the mysterious, dusty book, signed by the likes of Amelia Earhart and Eleanor Roosevelt.

The book, signed by the likes of Amelia Earhart, sat forgotten in a storage trunk for at least 50 years. 

3. I just finished reading Braving the Wilderness by Brené Brown. As always, she gets ★★★★★! So fitting… I was sitting in an Adirondack chair on the shore of Burt Lake when I read the last half of the book.

4. Light on or off is just a little something I wrote.
