Start with Happy

Do things that starts with “Happy.”

Blissfest is an annual folk and roots music festival that takes place in northern Michigan. It’s a long weekend filled with live music, food and drink, arts, and more. Almost all “Blissters” will agree that it is the event they look forward to most every year. As soon as you enter camp, “Happy Bliss!” is the common greeting for friends and strangers alike.

June is LGBT+ Pride Month to commemorate the Stonewall riots, which occurred at the end of June 1969. Throughout the month at Pride parades, Stonewall sporting events, gay bars, and hanging out with friends, “Happy Pride!” is the universal greeting among gays and allies.

Critical Mass is a monthly bike ride celebrated monthly year round across the world in over 300 cities to advocate cyclists rights and shared roads. Similarly, Slow Roll is a weekly social community bike ride that takes place in a few major cities across the country every Monday throughout the summer to encourage people to ride bikes and explore the city. Cyclists ring their bells, wave, and shout “Happy Monday!” at Slow Roll or “Happy Friday!” Critical Mass.

If you do things that start with “Happy,” they end with “See you next week!” or “See you next year!”…

If you do things that start with “Happy,” they end with friends, memories, community…

If you do things that start with “Happy,” they end with happy too.
